Since I started running in sixth grade, I have not only fallen in love with the sport, but with the community as well. Through good and bad races, tough practices, and even injury, I have come to realize that running is something that is truly significant in my life. The people that I am constantly surrounded with and the relationships I have built on the teams I've been on can be described as nothing short of family. Overall, I would really like to continue in this community through college and beyond as I believe it is the one I truly fit into. I do not just aspire to bring skill in running to my future teams, I hope to bring motivation, experience, and a genuine love for the sport to ensure everyone involved is doing well, and enjoying it. Additionally, as I have moved through high school, I have been taking more academically challenging cources and I genuinely believe that I would not be able to maintain the grades that I do without my schools sports programs. Running has given me an outlet for taking mistakes, and turning them into something great, so I can ultimately thrive in the classroom, and on the track.
