Softball is my passion. I work hard all year, whether it be pitching lessons with USA Elite and the PIT, throwing with my dad, hitting at the batting cages or practicing/playing with my high school team and Shoreline Sting Travel Team.
When it comes to academics, I am an extremely hard worker. I have tried to challenge myself in high school and elected to take courses such as AP Psychology and Honors US/World History. As a senior I will continue to challenge myself by taking UCONN Sociology and AP Language and Literature. I hope to major in Psychology in college with a sub specialty of clinical, sports or school psychology.
I am a natural lefty pitcher and I love to pitch. However, I am also a utility player. I play outfield and first base as well and I can hit for power or bunt/slap. Softball is a team sport and I believe in doing what is best for the team. I will play whatever position my coach asks me to play and follow his or her instructions when I’m at the plate as well.
I hope to continue to only get better both on the mound and in the classroom so that I can pursue my passion in college.
