Aaron Sandler '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Aaron Sandler. I am 5'8 still growing) and from Hall High school in Connecticut. I love jumping, so high jump, long jump, triple jump and even pole vault. As a 1st year indoor track competitor I am looked upon as a varsity contender and “a future big role in the future of the team.” The team’s achievements last year and the last 5 years was CT Open Champions. I like to think of myself as a team player so every time I step on the track I do what’s best for the team. I can bring comedy to the team but as soon as practice or meets or anything serious is occurs, I am fully focused at the task at hand. My one goal for acedmics is just to get better grades. A lot of athletes tend to focus just on athletics and that was myself for a long time until my parents told me that I will not be able to go to my dream school which is West Virginia University if I didn’t pick up my grades. For me, my biggest academic achievement was to get on the honor roll the first quarter of this year. My grades for freshman year were only good enough to barley get into a community college. Any chance I get from any school I will not take for granted, even if there is no money involved I will make your choice to include me on the team worth it.
