Events

  • Camp/Event
  • USATF JR OLYMPICS
  • 7/26/21 to 8/01/21
  • So I was invited to run at the JR OLYMPICS. it was a great experience for me and to grow as a runner becuase I got a real tatse of what its like to run at a national level. in the 400 I placed 126 out of 196 runners and in the 800 I placed 53 out of 97 runners. It wasn't the best day for me but it motivated me to get stronger and faster.
  • Camp/Event
  • STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
  • 5/21/21 to 5/21/21
  • So State was really fun. it was interesting to see all the talent that is there. In the 4x800M we placed 13th. I was 4th leg and got 2:08 for my time. I was really hoping we could've placed higher but sometimes things just don't go your way. It has motivated me to work very hard this summer with training for track so my times will be better for next season.
  • Camp/Event
  • GHSA Sectionals Regions 5,6,7,8
  • 5/08/21 to 5/08/21
  • so I ran two events for sectionals 4x800M, and 800M run. the 4x800M I had a time of 2:08 which was a PR I was 4th leg and brought us back into being qualified for state. so we placed 8th and broke a school record with a time of 9:10. the 800M run was good. I didn't make it. I placed 11th but I PR'D I got 2:09 so overall it wasn't a bad day. I knew that the competition was gonna be really hard in the 800M but I gave it everything I had.
  • Camp/Event
  • Region Finals
  • 4/26/21 to 4/27/21
  • So the first day of region I ran the 4x800M, 400M, and the 800M. in the 4x400M we placed 4th and we are moving on to sectionals. in the 400M I qualified for finals and placed 5th, and in the 800M I placed third overall. Today was region finals I didn't make it in the 400M I placed 5th with a time of 55.79, in the 800M I placed 4th with a time of 2:10 and im moving on to sectionals in that event, in the 4x400m we won I was first leg and got a Time of 55.91. we placed third in that and im going to sectionals in that. so im going to sectionals for the 4x800M, 4x400M, and the 800M run
