Personal Statement

My name is Thomas Czerwinski. I’m a student-athlete passionate about distance running and engineering. I’m seeking a college program where I can grow as a competitive runner while pursuing a degree in engineering.

Running has been a constant source of discipline and motivation since the sixth grade. Through cross-country and track, I’ve developed mental toughness, time management, and the ability to push through challenges. I thrive in team environments and value the shared commitment that drives everyone to improve.

Academically, I’m deeply interested in engineering, especially how science and math can be applied to solve real-world problems. Whether through STEM classes or hands-on projects, I enjoy thinking critically and working on innovative solutions. During my first year of college, I plan to explore different fields within engineering to discover which one aligns best with my interests and strengths.

I’m seeking a college that will challenge me in the classroom and on the course, where I can contribute to a hard-working, supportive team while pursuing my engineering goals.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Thomas Czerwinski

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
