Personal Statement

I got into running in 2022 after winning my school sports day by a significant margin. After talking to my parents, I joined a club, trained up and ran some races. My first ever 800m time as a 13 year old was 2:19 and since then I’ve hacked it down to 2:01, (with a few experiences in other events like 1500m and cross country), and hope to get it down even further in the next year.

I had a significant injury in 2023-2024 that had me out of competitive racing for nearly a year, but have had a good group around me to be able to rise back to the standards I was at before.

My hope in using this app is to find a new opportunity to push myself academically and athletically in collegiate sports.
