Colin Dawson '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m working hard everyday to achieve my goal of bettering myself through a university education and competing at high level for track and field. I love fulfilling leadership roles on teams and building strong relationships with my teammates and coaches alike. Track and Field allows me to do that by giving me an outlet to work hard in many aspects of training and self development. I understand that the work put in inside of the classroom is just as important as that on the track team. I am striving to learn every aspect of throwing and hopefully pass my knowledge on to other athletes. Qualifying for provincials was when I realized my true love for track and field and I got much more competitive. My most treasured memories though, is winning MVP and being announced team captain for the upcoming school season (which was postponed due to covid).
