I have been running since the 4th grade and have always had a passion for it. I started running at the elementary level and worked my way up to the varsity team at my high school. I'm the team captain currently and have developed good leadership skills. It has always been a dream of mine to run at the collegiate level and I would love nothing more than to make that a reality. I believe that my dedication to the sport and my hard work ethic would prove me a great asset to any team. I work hard at practice and in the classroom. I truly believe if you are going to do something why not do it well. Therefore if I make it to the college level my work ethic would remain the same if not increase. I would like to be a great college runner and not just go out there and waste my time or any of my future coaches time. I am an active member in my church and I have high expectations for myself. I am not the kind of person to go out partying the night before a meet and I would like to say I would not do anything that would jeopardize my personal brand. All together the bar I have set for my running, my academics, and my character are very high. With that said I believe I could be of great value to any college and look forward to running in the future at the college level.
