Luke Wunsch '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been a member of Walden High School's varsity track and field team since my freshmen year. The past two years I was named team captain a position I hold proudly. As a captain I believe it is my job to set examples for my teammates as to what it means to be a student athlete. I am constantly looking for ways to become a better leader and this is one of the most important things to me when it comes to competing at the next level.   I want to continue to build myself not only as an athlete but as a leader. I don't only wish to make myself better at the next level but  I hope to help make a program better as a whole. Through competitive results and good leadership I hope to leave a lasting impact on the team I am a part of.
