A few words to best describe me are competitive, resilient and cooperative. I have always been extremely driven to excel in athletics and have found success in football, wrestling and track. I have scored touchdowns as a running back, earned over 100 varsity wins in wrestling, but nothing compares to the satisfaction of achieving a new PR in track or being recognized as one of the fastest athletes in Kentucky. I am particularly proud of winning 7th, 6th, 3rd and 2nd place KY State sprinting medals, and all prior to entering my junior year. I simply love to run fast and look forward to improving this gift at the highest competitive level.
Resilient. Life is not always fair or easy. This is true for me, but only motivates me to overcome and find the best in people and circumstances. I was adopted as an infant, following drug/alcohol exposure as a newborn. This has left indelible challenges on my development, but refused to allow this to limit my potential. I have continued to overcome and am very proud of my accomplishments. I attribute my success to God, a loving and supporting family, and a relentless commitment to be the best possible version of me.
Cooperative. I am a team player and love to encourage and help others improve. I am very “coachable” and enjoy working as part of a team. Regardless of the level of achievement realized, it can always improve. Working as part of a TEAM, to find that improvement, is most rewarding.
My goal for college is to find a good fit to continue my education and competitive track career, and be a contributing member of a championship community, school, and team. Given the chance, I am confident I have the work ethic, talent, passion and commitment to make an immediate impact in your program.
