Personal Statement
My name is Gavin Duncan and i am 5'11" and 160 pounds. I currently attend Union High School. I have been running track and field all four years of my high school career. I have been a varsity runner on my high school team since my sophmore year. Since then I have been named All-Conference and All-County. I anchored the Union county champion shuttle hurdle team and took 1st in the Watchung division in the 110 hurdles. I hold 3 meet records in the 400m hurdles and anchored the 4x400 relay at both Penn Relays and the Meet of Champions. I was the first Junior in my schools history to be named captain of both the winter and spring track teams. I was also awarded the the Most Improved and the Most Dedicated by my coaches. Also during my tenure at Union High school I was a varsity letter award winner football player. I played since my 8th grade year and was named a varsity starting cornerback as a junior. I was named 2nd team All-Conference.
