Landon Jordan '24 Recruiting Profile

I love and enjoy running, I put in hard work and every race I continue to PR. My times are nowhere near where I know they can be, daily I try and correct my from so I can run better at meets. I want to run in college and I want to constantly improve. I try my best in everything I do, not only on the track but in the classroom as well. I am in mostly honors and AP classes so outside of track I know the importance of hard work. 

My second sport is rowing. My lightweight boat last year in Spring of 2022 was 8th in the nation, through this sport I learned the importance of teamwork. Although track is mostly an individual sport where you can only rely on yourself, I think that a strong brotherhood with your team is a key step into becoming better at running. I hope to join such a team where each athlete can make each other stronger.

Ever since I moved out of my 1 room apartment in Brooklyn with my mom I have been given many blessings. One of them was to run for and attend Seton Hall Preparatory school. I continue to run not only to prove that I can do it for myself but because I can not miss this opportunity that came from my moms' hard work. I thank her for my inspiration and my model of what hard work achieves. 

Please take me into consideration as a future prospect.
