
I joined cross country my sophomore year of high school as a way to stay fit and have fun. I ended up falling in love with running and was an alternate to our 2019 state champion team! I did not have track that year due to covid and spent the whole spring and summer working to make myself a better athlete. My junior year of cross country I PRd with a 17:10 5k and our team was 3rd at the state meet. In the off season i joined swim as a way to stay fit. I believe I am willing to do anything to stay fit and run the best times I possibly can to contribute to any team I end of running for.
