Track is a new passion for me and I plan on running throughout my college career. Although I have currently only participated in one track season, I will be running my second season of track in the Spring of 2019. I am very dedicated to the activities I undertake. I have a strong work ethic, which includes showing up early to practice to put in extra time training. I am very focused on improving myself each day. During the off season, I stay in shape by training with weights and running. I have pursued many different types of athletics during my high school years including varsity wrestling, varsity cheerleading and four years of football. I have found track to be my favorite sport. I enjoy the team aspect of track with the ability to personally improve in each event. I am very supportive of my teammates and will strive to make myself and my teammates better athletes.
My current aspiration is to be a law enforcement officer, which requires good grades, physical fitness, and dedication to excellence. The top paying law enforcement positions in my area requires a college education. The law enforcement officers I admire have all strongly encouraged me to get my bachelor's degree before beginning a law enforcement career. Please consider me for your college track team. I will be the hardest working athlete in your program.
