Being a student-athlete has taught me that showing up every day and giving your best really matters. Whether it’s showing up early for cross country practice, staying late to help younger athletes, or pushing myself academically to maintain a 5.03 GPA, I am proud of being a strong student, a kind leader, and a driven athlete. I’m excited to bring that same energy and commitment to a collegiate cross country and track program.
At Charleston Collegiate School, I’ve embraced every opportunity to grow. I’ve served as Student Body President, a Student Ambassador, and interned with several construction companies and real estate offices, all while balancing a rigorous academic schedule and a deep involvement in athletics. My leadership style is rooted in empathy and action. I’ve led mission trips, mentored junior counselors, and co-founded a small business with my brother. These experiences taught me how to listen, organize, and inspire.
Athletics have shaped my identity. As a multi-sport athlete and team captain in cross country, track, and basketball, I’ve learned how to lead by example and compete with heart. My passion lies in distance running, where I’ve earned All-State honors, MVP awards, and national recognition through USATF. My personal records -16:08 in the 5K, 4:12 in the 1500m, and 9:25 in the 3000m (ranked fifth nationally at the USATF Jr. Olympics) - reflect not just talent, but relentless drive. I have improved by PR each season in high school by over 49 seconds in the 5K. I want to continue pushing those limits in college, surrounded by teammates and coaches who share my hunger for growth.
Beyond the track, I value integrity, creativity, and service. Whether I’m repairing roofs on mission trips, managing inventory at a sports card shop, or designing packaging for our golf ball business, I bring reliability and enthusiasm to everything I do. I’m excited to contribute to a college community where I can thrive academically, compete athletically, and lead with kindness.
I’m ready to run faster, think deeper, and lead stronger and I hope to do it as part of your team.
