T'Mars (TJ) McCallum has a strong love for running, mathematics and engineering. I have been running since the age of six (6). Having a father that knows what it takes to become successful in the classroom is helpful with keeping my grades up to become prosperous. Track and field is my main sport. My best events are the 400m /100m/Long Jump. I've been a USATF athlete since 2012, and I've won the USATF state championships in long jump, high jump and triple jump. My main goals are to become an architectural engineer and successful college athlete.
I feel that my strong work ethic in the classroom and on the track make me a excellent candidate for your team. Academics are my #1 priority as my parents have always expressed the importance of excelling in academics. I have excellent study habits and organizational skills. I also love workouts and practices. I'm usually one of the first athletes to arrive at practice and one of the last athletes to leave. I always follow my coaches instructions as I value his/her time and expertise. I take athletics just as serious as academics.
My positive attitude, strong work ethic and athletic abilities differentiate me from every other athlete you will ever see. I am a great decision maker, outstanding student and great team player. I will be an asset to your team.
