Jayden Shorter '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach,

My name is Jayden D. Shorter, please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself and my future endeavors to become a college athlete.  

I envision my college career years to be a personal growth period.  My goal is not only be an outstanding athlete but, to also explore a major in zoology/animal science.  

On the track I plan to be a dynamic asset and positive influence on the team in any way that I can.  At every meet of my high school career as a participant I have challenged myself  to be better than I was at a previous meet by beating my own personal record each time I hit the track.  I have high hopes to grow both athletically and mentally throughout my college track and field career.  I crave a more competitive athletic and academic environment that will challenge me as both a person and student.

Above all, I will conduct myself with respect and honor on and off the track, knowing the way I carry myself reflects upon my team, coaches, and the school.
