Tyler Anton '21 Recruiting Profile

A good candidate for their team is someone who is willing to put in the hard work and dedication towards the program they are running for. He or she strives to be a better runner, student, and person everyday. Always willing to work. What makes me different from others is that I love to lead a team. I give other runners tips on how to improve or what they could work on like their form or pace. Always encouraging the team before their races or motivating them to finish their tough workout. I am always wanting to improve myself and work towards my goal. Academics is something where I don’t put myself in front of others to say that I’m better than them. I do have grades higher than most kids on my team, but I am also an upperclassmen taking AP classes.  Athletics is where I do compete higher than most kids. I am one of the top mid distance runners on the team, but I am also very humble. Never try to put someone down and always wanting to help everyone out on the team.
