Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I spent 10th grade in Mt. Vista Governor's School for Math and Science. This is a highly selective honors program for the academic top of VA. We spend half the day off campus for the program and return to our respective high schools for the remaining classes. This year, due to connectivity problems due to the COVID precautions, I am back at the high school. I am in three AP classes (Physics, Calculus, and APUSHistory), English 11, and Band/Percussion. I couldn't take AP English due to scheduling conflicts.

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsAlgebra II Academic Award, Spanish II Academic Award, Governor's School Acceptance, 9th grade All A Academic Award Letters for Academics, Track, Band Coach's Award for Indoor Track and Field Pins for Indoor Track and Band No academic awards were given at the end of the last academic year due to COVID shutdown. However, I made over a 4.0 average and I did qualify for the National Honor Society. Our induction ceremony will be this Fall.
