My life has been a mix of roller coasters since birth but one of the few I have been able to ride without fear is called Track and Field. Running has always been a big part of my life but I never took the step to pursue it until high school. I am extremely hard working, persistent and willing to go above and beyond for whatever program I will be apart of. Most importantly, I have always made sure that the student comes before the athlete while also juggling a job, church and volunteer work. I have been known as being very versatile because I have run events from the 100 to the 1000 meter run, high and distance hurdles and even long jumped. I feel that what I can bring to the table will help out the program in many ways and my positive and teamwork based attitude will help everyone become better athletes in the long run. Another important fact is that I want to become a psychologist with a PHD and because track and field is such a mental sport this will help me further develop my mental capacity. I have no clue what the future holds but I want to make sure I am making some sort of necessary change.
