Joel Rocco '25 Recruiting Profile

my goals for college are to go to college with a good academic program as well as a good athletic program I want to graduate with a finance degree in college and I want to run at the NCAA level as an 800m runner. What makes me a great candidate for a team is that I practice and run at meets as hard as I can and push my teammates to do better by competing. I am also very determined and listen to my coaches to help me improve on and off the track. I make sure not to focus only on athletics but I make sure to stay focused in the classroom because I believe education is important in my life. I am different from the other recruits because I stay out of trouble, never let a loss get to me, and I will always push to make myself better than others no matter if they are faster than me on paper.
