Being a college athlete has always been a dream of mine, but I couldn't ever settle down for the sport I wanted to play. I moved around lots of different sports in my life and only in my freshman year of high school I picked up Volleyball. Volleyball has been in my family for a very long time, my father passed his love of the sport down to me and now I'm one of the lucky few kids pioneering Boys Volleyball in Alaska
From all the past sports I've played I learned so many things that make my character strong. Perseverance and the openness to change are my biggest strength. When coaches tell me to fix a small thing I change it without a complaint, when I don't understand something I'm not afraid to ask for help or guidance and along with that I am very open to teammates advice and constructive criticism.
