Volleyball is not only a game to me, it inspires me to be better in everything I do. It is a team game that represents life. You must have fundamental skills, smarts, and specialties that differentiate you from the rest. I aspire to become better every day, whether that is in the weight room, the classroom, or the court. I always want to stand out and lead others, as well as help myself become the best I can be both with a team and individually. As a captain, I love to be vocal and lead everyone, not for the power, but for the opportunity to be part of something great. Every chance I get, I am in the weight room to get stronger, watching volleyball film to improve my game, and communicating with my teammates and coaches on how to improve myself and the team. All of my free time goes towards this sport, my absolute love.
