Personal Statement
I found a love for sports at the early age of 3. It all started with soccer and baseball. Then football and basketball. I’ve done it all, which to this day, has made me the athlete that I am. No sport has clicked with me like volleyball though. I started in middle school and played around 2 to 3 times a week. I really got into volleyball in 8th grade when I played on my high school’s JV team. By freshman year, I was a starter on varsity and played about 4 to 5 times a week. Towards the end of my sophomore season, I was recruited to play that summer at Nationals with 303 Volleyball Academy. And now, I will be playing out the club seasons with 303. Currently, I am playing anywhere from 5 to 7 days a week and I am always improving my skills. I am currently a two sport athlete at the high school level. Volleyball and baseball are my main focuses when it comes to after school extracurricular activities. I always want to be doing one or the other. I am thought of as a leader on and off the court, and I always do my best to fulfill that role. I want to be a role model, and be someone that anyone can look up to at any given moment. Along with continuing my athletics throughout college, I would also like to pursue either Astronomy, Zoology or Medicine as my major. I aspire to be the greatest teammate on the court, but also off the court all the time.
