Connor McGee '23 Recruiting Profile

At a young age I developed a love for volleyball. My mom played throughout high school; I grew up with the sport. I am an Assistant Coach for my school's Varsity and JV teams. Throughout middle school I was a manager. This being said, I've watched numerous amounts of volleyball up close and personal.  Growing up in the south set me back at wanting to play men's volleyball as it is not as popular as it is in other areas of the country.

 I have overcome this obstacle by finding a club team to play on. I am a leader on the team and push my teammates and myself to be the best we can be. On the court I am very energetic and when my team is having a hard time I feel as it is my duty to bring everyones attitudes up. Unique skills that I can bring to your volleyball program are my leadership abilities, determination, and my positive attitude!
