I love most sports but team sports are my passion. Being able to improve yourself as well as learning how to get the most out of the people around you is one of my favorite parts of volleyball. I play to have fun and the best way to have fun is to succeed. I think that just because you don't win doesn't mean you can't succeed, but I strive to do both.
After trying volleyball out in my middle school intramurals, I was hooked, and began High school volleyball training through the summer before my freshman year. By Sophomore year I was captain of my school's JVA volleyball team. I really started putting in the work that season and then kept grinding the whole rest of the year, with drills, and plyometric training outside of practice. Everything paid off and I not only made Varsity as a Junior, I was selected by coaches and teammates as one of the captains. I lead the team in kills, digs, and aces. I was selected for all All-State-1st-team and am now going into winter club season with Vibe, the only men's club in my area, coincident with high-school varsity hockey, and men's league ultimate frisbee.
I play different sports during all three high school seasons; volleyball in the fall, hockey in the winter, and ultimate frisbee in the spring.. I love being challenged by my peers academically and in sports. Despite carrying a full course load including several honors and AP classes, I've made varsity in all three sports.
I was selected as a captain even though I was a junior.
No matter what, I always plan to make myself better and in the long run I will not let myself be anything except the best I can be.
