Although my high school volleyball program isn’t the strongest, the two years that I've experienced has taught me so much. I was fortunate enough to have amazing coaches that only wanted to see growth and improvement, not only as an athlete, but also as a person. Losing plenty of games were very tough, but out of those games, I learned many lessons. Those experiences helped me grow so much and taught me that it's not all about winning, but about the things you do as an athlete to prepare to win and better myself in the future. These experiences motivated and lead me to refocus on becoming a solid defensive specialist capable of playing at the collegiate level.
I plan on attending a two or four year university to pursue my goals in becoming a radiographer. I am a motivated and determined student athlete. I strive to get good grades while constantly trying to improve my skill in the sport of volleyball. I started playing in grade 7 and I instantly fell in love. As a student athlete that balances school, work, and volleyball, I will always bring 110% into anything I do. With the motivation to win, I will always bring a positive and hardworking attitude onto the court. From past experiences, I have learned the value of commitment, teamwork, and trust. Teamwork begins by building trust and taking the time to commit to what you ́re doing. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. Talent is a very important factor in playing for a college team, but character and work-ethic also play a big part, which are skills that I can bring to benefit and impact your program.
