NCSA Baseball Reviews from Parents, Athletes and Coaches

One of our core values at NCSA is “direct and honest communication.” In that spirit, we consistently get feedback from our families by asking “how likely are you to recommend NCSA?” Since 2016, we’ve received more than 11,400 baseball reviews rating our service, products and people on a 1 to 10 scale. 10 means “extremely likely to recommend” NCSA, and 1 means “unlikely to recommend” NCSA.

NCSA Reviews for Baseball from Athletes and Parents

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“I feel that Coach Nemo was very forthright and honest with us. The entire recruiting, scouting and college search experience is frightening to begin with. However, Coach Nemo was very helpful in simplifying and explaining all the steps for us—not giving us too much information at once but instead breaking down what needed to be done next and going from there. Thank You.”

“I love the services provided by NCSA. They also provide help whenever needed. The only reason why I didn't give it a 10 was because it isn't something that I use productively every single day. I use it with a purpose about 2-3 times per week with updates and checking email and searching for new colleges.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“Four years ago, during the 14U Regional NTIS, I wasn't sure what this service was or what role it would play in recruiting since my son and I had no experience navigating through the recruiting process.  I did know that we needed something if my son continued to stay on track with his development.  Now that my son is a rising senior, it is evident that having our experienced NCSA coach, Marvin Sanchez, to answer questions, assist with my son’s profile and provide advice to both the player and the parent is extremely valuable. The web site also became an information resource for my son for coach interactions and college information.  Through every college coach email, phone call, baseball camp, showcase, meeting and college visit, Coach Sanchez was there to guide and advise us as a trusted friend.”

“It’s a great resource for anyone looking to get connected!  The resources are easy to use and eliminate a lot of unnecessary steps.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“NCSA has provided all the avenues and tools to being successful. NCSA has connected our son with those schools that will benefit each other. NCSA has made the recruiting process much less painless and less time consuming for us. We are now able to focus on the things that would normally take much longer on our own.”

Class of 2020 – Parent – Baseball
“Based on John's NCSA membership thus far, he has been pleased with the close and caring relationship Coach Andy Drake has built with him. Whenever we text, email, or set up a phone meeting with Coach Drake, questions we have are clearly explained and any information we send NCSA is dealt with immediately as an utmost importance (example: video clips). We would definitely recommend NCSA to other young athletes!”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“NCSA has taken most of the work from the parents/players and consolidated it into a very successful program for the student athlete and parent. Our final step is to see which or how many colleges offer an opportunity for my son to be able to play baseball at the next level while working towards his degree.”

Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Baseball
“NCSA has given me the opportunity to reach out to the colleges of my dreams. NCSA gives you all the coaches’ emails, phone numbers, and so much information on the school alone that you are interested. NCSA helps you take steps through the recruiting process, gives you information on when you can and cannot contact coaches and provides so much more information about the recruiting process. NCSA is definitely one of the top recruiting websites out there to be on!”

Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Baseball
“NCSA is easily the best tool available for athletes looking to compete at the next level. It gives coaches/recruiters a platform for them to see the skills, highlights, academics, and key stats for any player they would like. For athletes, it gives us easy access to contact coaches/schools at any level and lets us get on their radar. As a baseball player (2019 Grad) NCSA has let me coordinate showcase/camp times with many coaches from all divisions and at schools around the US. It has also let coaches get into contact with me and send me information regarding their school since they have such easy access to all the athletes they are recruiting. Because of this, I would most definitely recommend NCSA to any athlete that wants to compete at the collegiate level in their respective sport.”

Class of 2021 – Parent – Baseball
“As my son is finishing middle school and beginning his high school baseball season next year, I am excited that we started early and anxious to really get his future started. Derek's recruiting coach has been patient and informative so far. We will really be picking his brain in the near future to help us along our recruiting journey.”

“NCSA has helped me narrow down which schools are the best fit for me both academically and athletically. I have been able to use my preferences of what kind of school I am looking for in a certain location that matches up with my academic and social needs. I have now found out what schools I should be targeting to get to the next level.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“NCSA is a great network to get your information out to college coaches. They compile a lot of information needed to get the athlete noticed and work with you closely to help you along the way. The price you pay for their services is not really that much if they help you get into a college to further your education and play your favorite sport along the way. So, if you put the time needed into the program, you will get the most out of it and get the best RESULTS.”

Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Baseball
“NCSA helps me become a better student athlete while looking for schools that match my skill level and academic level. My recruiting coach helps me with everything that I need to have done and gives good feedback on my progress. NCSA is the program to be in if you want to be a college athlete because of its professionalism and team of experienced staff.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“The recruit-match product (and the database) alone is invaluable for making connections with schools that fit the profile of a school you're looking for (and are qualified for).  I can't imagine how else this could be done.  Our Recruiting Coach (Davide Harris) has been very helpful and patient as we get used to the system and the recruiting process.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“I believe NCSA is there to help athletes go on to the next step if they want to play in college.  You have to keep your expectations in check…if you want to play you may not go to a big college but if you are talented you can play for a smaller school. Always keep all your options open.  We are always kept in check as to what we need to be doing next.  Conference calls and the profile editing is a great help.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“NCSA is a good way to communicate with coaches as well as learn about the recruiting process. There are many ways to help a student athlete such as Recruiting Coaches, videos, and classes. It also helps us understand which colleges are the right fit for our child, both academically and athletically. For these reasons I would recommend NCSA to anyone trying to play a sport at the next level.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“We have already recommended NCSA to many of our teammate friends and friends who are in other sports.  We have always been completely satisfied with the assistance and guidance NCSA has always offered. NCSA makes it so easy to understand the whole process of recruiting—which can be very complicated at certain points along the way. There are so many pieces to put together in the whole process that aren’t sometimes always clear to parents and athletes, and NCSA has always made sure to help clear up those confusing details either during scheduled appointment calls or if we were just calling in to ask a quick question. Thank you.”

Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Baseball
“I feel like I would be very likely to recommend NCSA to a friend because it helps a lot in the recruiting process. As a student and athlete NCSA offers a lot of help to someone looking to get recruited by a school and if somebody was looking to play college sports then I would definitely recommend this website to them.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“Very helpful people, and they all want you to succeed. The recruiting is tailored to your specific needs; it isn’t a website to please the masses. It has given me connections to coaches that I would’ve never had. Since signing up, I have gotten more than 100 pieces of mail from Admissions Offices, which I would have never received without NCSA.”

Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Baseball
“The reason I gave NCSA a 10 on recommending it to a friend or teammate is because NCSA really allows you to explore different colleges at all different levels. NCSA also is very good at helping guide you through the whole recruiting process. I also feel and know I have a really good Recruiting Coach (Coach Mattox) to help me get to the next level!”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“The sessions and speaking to the Recruiting Coach clear up a lot of the myths and misconceptions about the recruiting process. Even though certain deadlines do occur the coach—in this case Coach Harris—gives you real feedback. For instance, even though legally or technically a coach can call you realistically they're not necessarily going to do it right away because they're looking at older grad class players first. Those are the kinds of things that definitely do help us navigate this process.”

Class of 2019 – Parent – Baseball
“Coach McGovern has been an excellent unexpected change in coaches. He offers valuable feedback to my son and lets him know what to work on to prepare himself for the next level.  Previous coaches have been less specific about what my son needs to work on to prepare to be a competitive college recruit. One was good in preparing a roadmap, but McGovern has been very direct and helpful for the couple of months he has been assigned to our family, and it’s very refreshing and welcome.”
