I am a Recruiting Coordinator with NCSA college recruiting as well as a life-long athlete that thought playing at the collegiate level was out of reach. I reside in New Jersey and still love to play pick-up games or rec. leagues to stay active and have fun. During the summer I enjoy the Jersey shore and like to surf or body board! I played soccer from the time I could walk till my senior year of high school. I played at DePaul Catholic High School in New Jersey and the conferences we were in were very competitive.
I did not think I had a route to play at the next level. After finding and starting to work for NCSA I now know that isn’t case! When I first learned about NCSA my initial thought was “where was this when I was playing?!” because I honestly feel if I had NCSA behind me I would have been able to find a college that would have fit for me athletically and academically.
My favorite part about working at NCSA is helping student athletes that may feel like I did and give them the options I thought I didn’t have. My favorite part of sports was always my team mates, being able to look at the athlete next you and share the common goal of trying to succeed at something that isn’t easy and that same team mentality is my favorite part at working at NCSA. Being a team player I am willing to leave it all on the field and strive for excellence in everything I do.
