Since an early age, sports have always been a big part of my life. I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, where I played multiple sports up until high school. At that point, I decided that soccer was the sport I wanted to pursue going forward and I was lucky enough to earn a scholarship to play at Missouri State University. I actually graduated high school a semester early and started with the team the Spring of my senior year of high school, which was a very unique experience!
I played all four years at Missouri State, collected a few Missouri Valley Conference championship rings in the process and captained the team my senior year. After graduating from the business school in 2014, like a lot of college athletes I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after my playing career was over. I ended up going into finance, where I spent the last 7 years working in different financial sales roles.
As a Recruiting Specialist, I have taken a very intentional step back into the sports world and look forward to being a great resource for student athletes trying to play at the next level. It is very rewarding to see how one conversation can have such a huge impact on the families we speak to.
