I grew up in a family that was very passionate about soccer and played it all my life. After returning to the US from living a couple of years in Portugal, I decided that I wanted to be a pro, and unfortunately, a severe injury during my senior year derailed those plans. Luckily I had great grades and received an academic scholarship to attend college. This was when I realized how important academics truly were, as it provided me other avenues to pursue, once others closed. I went to Unversity of South Florida, where I graduated with a degree in finance.
After college, I spent 13 years working as a Financial analyst and then decided to pursue my passion of working with students and sports. I joined one of the top sports training facilities/boarding schools in the world, IMG Academy located in Bradenton, Florida. There I worked along with the coaches to recruit athletes for the academy, and I also assisted in college recruiting.
IMG Academy is where I first learned of NCSA (Offical recruiting partner at IMG Academy) and saw first hand what an advantage this tool provided for our students when it came to helping identify right fit schools for our students. When the time came to leave Florida (family medical reasons) that is when I decided to contact NCSA directly and see how I could become part of this amazing company. I am thrilled to be part of such a great group of people who genuinely want to help families and students achieve their goals of making it to college, and achieving a higher education.
