I have been around Sports my entire life. Growing up as a collegiate coach’s son, I was always around student-athletes that I looked up to. When it was my chance to play sports, I wanted to play as many as possible! I grew up playing basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and much more. Ultimately, I decided to focus on basketball once I reached high school.

After high school was over, I decided that I would be done with my playing career. Although my playing career had concluded, I was still motivated to be involved with sports. I chose to attend Butler University for college and joined the Butler Men’s Basketball program as a Student Manager. I spent all four years of college working with the team and I loved every second of it! After graduating from Butler with my Bachelor’s in Science, I started looking for collegiate coaching opportunities around the nation.

I was fortunate to receive a coaching opportunity as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Point Loma Nazarene University, an NCAA Division II institution in San Diego, CA. I spent the 2018-19 season with Point Loma and was part of a team that won 30+ games, played in the NCAA Division II National Championship Game, and had the Division II National Player of the Year.

After one season in San Diego, I was offered a position in Pocatello, ID as the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations at Idaho State University. After one season in this role, I was promoted to become an Assistant Coach. In this role, I was responsible for recruiting prospective student-athletes to our institution. After three seasons as a Division I Assistant Coach and four seasons overall at Idaho State, I decided it was time to make a change. While I was ready to transition out of collegiate coaching, I still wanted to be around sports and continue to have an impact on student-athletes trying to accomplish their goals for the future.

I am extremely excited to be a part of the NCSA team as I know I can still achieve these goals as a member of this organization. After spending nine years working in collegiate athletics, it is evident that there is no better organization at connecting college coaches and student-athletes than NCSA!
