I am a resident of the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area, namely Cobb County by way of Saint Louis Mo. where I competed with one of the areas most premiere JFL programs (U City Lions) as a youngster. Before I was afforded the opportunity to continue playing at University City Senior High I was a 3 sport athlete in JFL. Although in High School I found that playing football and wrestling in high school took another level of commitment that the inner city hadn’t prepared me for. So, After graduating I attended Missouri Technical Institute to study Electrical Engineering with hopes of playing Big 12 football at MIZZOU, which never quite materialized, somewhere in between I met my future wife Mya, got married, started a family. After a job opportunity was presented in GA.we decided that would be a great place to raise our family. With a wife and now 4 kids, my 3 oldest being sons, athletics became a natural outlet to help channel all that unused energy in our household. Unknowingly, it also inspired a new passion and purpose in me as a coach/mentor/father/advisor of these future champions. Helping them to find meaning and opportunities beyond high school became a calling. After countless conversations, championship moments, super bowls disappointments, emotional embraces, sports became even more to me it became a ministry. Encouraging the youth to use sports as a resource to develop positive habits and work ethics in and out of the classroom. After being a part of youth sports for years and graduating my own children into college programs, I believed sports would have to take a back seat in life. NCSA/IMG Sports academy has given me away use ministry/voice/and my super powers to continue inspiring the youth and their families to tap into the super powers. Go Be Great!!!!!!
