Running track has always been my favorite hobby! I got involved in the sport at the age of 13 and quickly became a student of multiple events. I spent my summers running for USATF and got my first taste of how track could open so many doors for me including travel and an opportunity to attend college on a scholarship. I attended Homewood Flossmoor High School where I was team MVP and State Champion in 2005.

I went on to compete with a full scholarship on both the division l and division II level. I started my collegiate track and field career at Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville where I became Indoor/Outdoor GLVC Freshman of the year, GLVC Athlete of the year Indoor and Outdoor a total of  5 times, 18 Time NCAA All-American and 3 time NCAA Champion before transferring to the University of Illinois- Urbana my senior year. I finished my collegiate career as the Big ten champion, Regional Champion and NCAA all-American in the 400MH.

The biggest highlight for me while in college was competing at the 2008 Olympic Trials as a Junior in college and making the finals- It was then that I realized I could take my talents are far as I was willing to stretch them!

The most rewarding part of working for NCSA is that I get to connect with families and guide the families in the right direction of this recruiting process. Another favorite part of working with NCSA is not only having that connection with families but my colleagues. I am a team player, I am very determined, and I am always willing to put forth my best effort to help progress the mission of the team.

Outside of NCSA, I love working out and coaching athletes, I coach High school Girls Basketball and Track and Field. When I am not coaching or mentoring athletes through the recruiting process I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters on a beach with the day full of water activities.
