Born and raised in New Jersey I currently reside in Ormond Beach ,Florida with my girlfriend of 12 years Krissy and our dog Buttercup. My motivation to help parents and student athletes find the right college match has been building momentum ever since I completed high school over 30 years ago. The decision to join NCSA was easy, having been familiar with the organization since 2006.

I received some D3 offers but the Lord had other plans for me. My father became ill my senior year and passed away soon after I turned 19 and that left me in charge with the unexpected and very difficult task of navigating my future career choices not knowing where to turn for trust and guidance.

I attended a college locally that had no football program and leaned on coaches and relationships developed through sports and education. Knowing what a positive influence my father had on the local youth kids through his coaching them in Pop Warner I decided I wanted to do the same and coached football for two years where I played at Bound Brook high School working with the receivers and quarterbacks helping to install the run & shoot offense. After the 1992 season I moved to Arizona to continue my education and be nearer my mother who relocated there after my father’s death. While attending school and working I also coached tight ends and linebackers at Marcos De Nizia H.S in 1993.

I was out of football for 10 years when in 2004 & 2005 I was blessed to serve Arizona and Ohio High School Hall of Fame football coach Jim Rattay as an advanced game scout for his Phoenix Christian teams that won state titles both years. That experience inspired me to pursue what I was passionate about even further and I went to work independently evaluating players on a national level for several well respected NFLPA and CFLPA player agents.

Ultimately I wanted to evaluate players for NFL or CFL teams and in less than a year I was blessed again when longtime run & shoot coach and Quarterback Guru John Jenkins brought me into the CFL as a West Coast college scout with the Calgary Stampeders and Ottawa Renegades in 2006. It was a lifelong dream being realized and for the next 6 years I continued learning and working with some of the most passionate and dedicated football evaluators who taught me the intricacies of scouting free agents released from NFL training camps for Arena Football League teams and coaches.

I’ve also developed relationships with college and high school coaches through my work with the NIKE Coach of the year clinics from 2012-2015 as well as through event sponsorship for all star games ,camps and clinics.

Through these experiences I’ve learned first-hand just how much fun it is to work and learn alongside like minded individuals doing something that we are passionate about. At the same time through these experiences we know how difficult it is to play at the professional level and understand the importance of getting a quality education and a college degree to open up career opportunities after graduation.

I’ve seen first hand the popularity of sports grow nationally and globally. We all know the positive role sports can play in connecting cultures and developing long lasting friendships and relationships. Every year more and more colleges are adding Sports programs and through NCSA and their proprietary technology we can connect opportunities like never before for student athletes to get both a quality education and to play their sport.
