Growing up in Troy, Michigan, I competed in Basketball and Baseball on the varsity level at Troy High School. I had the opportunity to pursue sports at the collegiate level, however, without much direction or knowledge of the recruiting process, I never pursued those opportunities. I attended Wayne State University in downtown Detroit and graduated with a Criminal Justice degree.

Fast forward to 2005, my wife and I moved to Arizona along with our two young children. I continued to stay active in sports and I was the head coach for a girls Varsity Basketball team at a small high school in Arizona for several years. I also earned my Masters degree in Adult Education.

Over the years, both of our daughters have become high-level Volleyball players. Our oldest daughter played Beach Volleyball at Arizona State University, and our youngest daughter will be playing Indoor Volleyball at The Air Force Academy this fall of 2022.

I joined NCSA because I want to help families and student-athletes by guiding them in the right direction during the recruiting process. As a parent, I experienced the recruiting process for the past 6 years with my daughters and I know how difficult it can be. Knowing there are resources and platforms such as NCSA can really make a difference in the whole recruiting process.

The most rewarding part of working at NCSA is being part of the family’s journey, and being able to feel the joy and happiness when the family’s student-athlete commits to play at the collegiate level. There is a place for everyone, and NCSA gives that opportunity.
