I played college basketball for four years. My first two years I attended and played at Cypress Junior College in Southern California where I was all-conference and team MVP my sophomore year. Based on my performance on the court and in the classroom at Cypress, I was able to earn a full scholarship to attend and play basketball at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska (UAF).  The time I spent in Alaska provided some of the greatest experiences I’ve had in my life. Through basketball, I was able to travel throughout the entire state and see and experience things I will never forget. In my senior year, I was named All-Great Northwest Conference, and I was team MVP and also lead the entire nation in free throw percentage for Division 2 men’s basketball. After playing I was fortunate enough to be hired on as the head women’s basketball coach at UAF where my teams were able to amass the highest winning percentage of any basketball program in the school’s history.  After coaching at UAF I also coached at Sonoma State University in Northern California, which also competes at the Division 2 level in the NCAA.

The thing I like most about working at NCSA is that I truly believe it levels the playing field for athletes everywhere and gives every student-athlete the opportunity to gain exposure and be recruited by college coaches, no matter where you live or how much notoriety the school you play for has. NCSA is truly a game changer when it comes to recruiting.
