All my life college hockey was a dream of mine. I never truly understood how difficult it would be to reach that goal. I was able to pursue the Junior hockey route playing in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) still unsure of if college hockey would become a reality. Eventually I was able to get help and guidance in order to pursue that goal. I played four years at Oswego State University a Division III hockey program. I graduated with a degree in Communication, while also serving as the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Committee. This role helped me clearly understand what being a student-athlete entails.
During college I always knew that I wanted to stay involved in the world of sports. So many different avenues and paths to stay in this field but I wanted to find the right one. While working for NCSA I am given the opportunity to make sure student-athletes are provided with guidance and support to achieve their goals.
