I played high school baseball in Arizona, and just like many other players in the area I thought I was on my way to a division 1 school. I was getting camp invites from schools but didn’t know what real interest was supposed to look like. All the universities I reached out to would never reply and I didn’t have a real plan when it came to the recruiting process. I chose the junior college route to buy myself some more time to find my dream school. Although I had a bit more time to decide, I still never had a clear idea of what I was looking for when it came to college. This confusion was not because I was lacking talent, but rather lacking knowledge on what the recruiting process entails.

I started my collegiate baseball career at Glendale Community College, where I played two years as the starting second baseman and captain. After learning all I could in juco, I transferred to a division II school in Minnesota to begin my third year of college ball. At St Cloud State, I played second and third and earned the Gold Glove award. Although I had much success at SCSU, I knew it was not the right fit for me. I took a leap of faith and finished up my last two years at the University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos California. USK had everything I wanted in a baseball program and met all my needs academically. This contributed to my growth and success as a player and a person. In my two seasons at USK we won the schools first Cal Pac Championship and participated in the NAIA opening round twice.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from being around college sports so long is that everyone has their own story when it comes to recruiting. My favorite part about NCSA is being able to make an impact on student athletes. I was in the shoes of every athlete I talk to, and I know how the recruiting process can feel like a huge life decision. I love being able to take away all the pressure from the student athlete and their families and show them that the college recruiting process is meant to be fun and stress free when given the proper tools and guidance.

I am originally from Boston Massachusetts and a diehard Red Sox fan.
On my free time I enjoy traveling to new MLB stadiums with my wife Raegan and walking my aussiedoodle scoops!
