Kyla Edmonson '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in my 2nd year as a Bevill State Bear.  I am a starting pitcher for the team. On May 11, 2024 I was awarded ACCC Division II All Conference Pitcher on the First Team.

Softball has been my passion since I can remember.  Around 10 years old I decided to try pitching.  It has been a lot of hard work and dedication but well worth the effort.  In 2018, my travel ball team won the USSSA 14 U State Champions.   In 2021,  a memorable moment for me is achieving  the 2021 Alabama All State 2nd team as a pitcher.  

My goal in college is to complete a Business/Accounting major.  On the field, I intend to be a vital teammate while conducting myself as the best influence possible.  I will strive to be an asset in my softball career as a pitcher, fielder as well as in the batting lineup.  Most importantly on and off the field I will carry myself with honesty and integrity as I know the way I carry myself effects everyone involved.  

I enjoy spending time and mentoring younger softball players.  This is a passion of mine as well.  I currently help several young girls learning all they can about the game.
