Rylie Welk '24 Recruiting Profile

I am an aspiring collegiate softball player driven daily to achieve to the next level. I bat left handed and field my first baseman position left handed as well. . I currently hit at the top of our varsity lineup and can slap or hit for power. I strive to lead our team in stolen bases.  Softball has helped me not only with athletic ability's  but also social and mental ability's. When I first started softball I was very shy and it helped boost my confidence. Softball has made me who I am today. I am constantly looking forward to not only games but also practices. Softball has taught me drive and how to be a better student and player for any sport. 

I started the sport back in t-ball when I was  5. I continued on through little league and club ball shortly after. As I got older I gained more experience from going to tournaments and camps, such as, UCLA camp, multiple tournaments throughout the states and now I'm attending showcases. Through these showcases I look forward to exploring all the options for college.
