Since the day I started playing softball, I found a passion and complete love for the game, the atmosphere, and the people I've been able to connect with. My competitive and determined nature has guided me to chase my dreams of playing softball at the highest level I possibly can, and has led me to moving away from my home and family in British Columbia, Canada, to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue what I love, and set up my future self for success.
I always make it a priority to have fun while I train and play, but in between those white lines, I take my performance seriously. I practice with full commitment and intention so that during games I am able to play both confidently and naturally. I love to win, but always strive to learn something from my losses in order to better myself as a player and a teammate.
Not only am I passionate about my athletic performance, but I also hold myself to a high academic standard, having a 4.0 weighted GPA and taking AP and Honors classes in my junior year. While attending a private Catholic school with up to 3 hours of homework per night, I have learned valuable time-management skills that I know will benefit me as I move onto the next chapter of my student-athlete life.
Ultimately, I love to challenge myself to grow in all aspects of my life: academically, athletically, mentally, and emotionally. I am incredibly excited to continue to work towards my goal of playing collegiate softball, and can't wait to see where these next couple of years take me!
