Hi my name is Mia Garcia, graduating class of 2027. I’ve been playing softball since I was five, and from my very first game in little league, I knew this sport was special to me. As I grew older, my passion only deepened—playing alongside incredible girls who inspire me to push myself harder and coaches who challenge me to reach my fullest potential. I currently on the Varsity Team for Flagstaff High School and also travel with USA Athletics 18U.
My dreams go beyond the game, I aspire to play softball at the collegiate level, while pursuing a meaningful education in the nursing field. The moment I step onto the ballfield, I give everything I have—100% effort—to my team and coaches. I have a great softball IQ and I am committed to working tirelessly outside of practice, especially in pitching, to become the best I can be. Through softball, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about time management, balancing school and sport, and I’ve fallen even more in love with the thrill of competition and the bonds I make with my teammates. Softball has taught me to work hard and chase what I truly want, making me a player you’d be proud to have on your team.
Outside of softball, I enjoy spending quality time with my incredible twin sister, who catches for me and is always my biggest supporter. I also love camping and heading to the lake, finding joy in the simple, moments in life.
