Madison Moody, 20..."I want you to know that it doesn't matter how hard you work, that I'm willing to work harder than you" ~ Kobe Bryant.
I've played many sports in my life, and this quote has driven me to become the athlete I am today. When I go to practice and see people slacking off it gives me the motivation to do more. When I go to practice and see people grinding and working hard, it gives me the motivation to work or grind harder. This is just the person I am. I learn off of people good or bad. I don't just do it for myself either, I do it for my teammates as well. All a team needs is one person to work harder to show them that they need to step it up as well. When you watch a game and you start seeing a rally going, I mean base hits back to back, teammates stealing back to back and scoring it only took that one person to start it off. It's the same thing when your team is stuck in a hole and the team keep making errors back to back, you just need that one person to pick you up out of that hole and work harder, then the whole team will follow your energy. That's how you win games as a whole. Just by one person working a little bit harder than you.
I love competing, you have to compete in everything in life, school work, recruiting, and even employment. Sports have given me the opportunity to learn how to compete and work with others which will help me in the real world. You will have to work with people and deal with other emotions and energy, so I like to give off positive energy and good work ethics.
