I will be the first in my family to attend traditional college. I developed the love for sports at a very young age and excelled at softball when I was 10 years old. I also play basketball and volleyball at my high school. I want to get my education while playing the game I love. I want to not only join a team but gain a family. I give my whole heart while I am on the field and the mound is my home.
I am humble, hard working, and put my game face on when it's go time. The bonds you develop in the diamond are ones that can carry you to huge successes not only in softball but in school and in life. I want to add to a school's already amazing roster, to be able to have the opportunity to be a great teammate. I am a great leader who knows that I can not be successful as a pitcher without the team standing behind me. Academics and the ability to continue my education is what drives me to work hard everyday. I want to be a role model for my younger sister and show her that hard work pays off. I always say that nothing worth having in life comes without sacrifice and hard work.
My goal is to be the best student athlete that I can be. I will work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I have been blessed enough to be coached by an amazing coaching staff with my club team. I am coachable and take everything they say and soak it up and apply to my game. I am a better person and athlete because of the people who believe in me.
