Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing travel ball when I was 13 years old, softball has taken over my life. This sport has taught me so many things, it has made me into a devoted and hard working leader in not only softball but everything that I do. As a catcher I must do the extra work so that I can lead my team to success and to make sure that I always have their backs even when things don't go our way. I am always working to improve every skill, from blocking to throw downs. I push myself to be the best that I can be both on and off the field. In school I take the most rigorous classes that are offered and I take pride in maintaining my 4.6 GPA. Before high school, I was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and I enjoyed it so much. In my junior year I plan on joining the National Honor Society. After I graduate, I would like to pursue a major in math in college. My goals for the rest of high school are not only to stay in the top percentile of my class, but to also improve my defensive and offensive skills.
