Personal Statement
Dear Coach,
My name is Emmalyn Brinka from Chandler, Arizona. I am a fifteen year old right handed pitcher/first baseman. I am reaching out to you because I have great interest in continuing my academics and love for softball throughout the collegiate level. I play on the 18u Explosion-Jackson Organization and consider myself to be an asset both physically and mentally.
A little background of myself includes me winning Montana state with my 12u Montana Avalanche team in the summer of 2016, playing in the Western Regional in San Bernardino, CA, and receiving first team all region pitcher as well as all academic scholar athlete my freshman year of high school. I believe I have good leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a drive to do my best in everything I do.
As a student I am an incoming sophomore at Corona Del Sol High School and carry a 3.72 GPA. In my future I hope to work in the area of law. For extra curricular activities I enjoy helping out in my community. As a team, we had the pleasure of shopping for children in need. I also volunteer at the state special Olympic games when it is held in Missoula and my favorite thing to do is work with the challenger program for my hometown little league that helps kids with disabilities play the game I love.
This season I will be pitching and playing for the 18 U Explosion-Jackson. As a 16 year old I want to be competitive and successful in the 18 U division. I hope you will be able to see me play in one of my upcoming showcase tournaments. Best of luck in your upcoming season!
