Hello and good afternoon,
My name is Emylie Alkire, and I am writing as a junior at Empire High School in Vail, AZ. I plan to major in biology/animal science/pre-vet/zoology. My parents took all of us to the zoo, wherever we traveled and that was where my love of animals began. I plan to become a zoo veterinarian and focus on specializing in giraffes. There are many things I am seeking from the school I am soon to call home, the majors that I have mentioned, but the most important thing is that my extreme passion for the game of softball is matched and exceeded. I have been playing softball for almost 10 years, and I am determined to only improve and continue to grow. My love and passion for the sport has provided me with the drive and energy to become my best self. I have become a much more confident and self-assured individual by putting 100% effort into every game, practice, and training. Giving my best and screaming as loud as possible to cheer on my teammates is my absolute favorite thing. I want to continue to change my love and dedication for this sport in a new place, and I am very excited to be considered. Thank you very much, and I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
Emylie Alkire
