Ava Walker '27 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coach, I’m Ava Walker, and I'm a part of the 2027 class. Ever since I was 5 years old I‘ve loved the game of softball. I’ve been playing travel ball for the past 5-6 years and I greatly enjoy it. Besides softball, I also play basketball and tennis and I cheer at my school. On weekends I don’t play softball (which is hardly ever) I enjoy doing water sports at the lake and spending quality time with friends and family. I'm mostly a RHP but I am willing to play anywhere when needed. I also can maintain a good GPA, which is a 4.0. I'm very coachable and I love constructive criticism. I get along with others very well and I’m a member of the Student Council and FBLA. Being an athlete in college is more than your athletic ability, your academics have to be on point and you have to be a leader. I strongly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without the potential God has given me. Therefore, even though I may do something wrong, I will always give it 100% and won’t settle for average.
