Personal Statement
My name is Victoria Hennarichs, and I'm a passionate softball player who desires to play at the collegiate level. I attend Springdale High School in Springdale, Arkansas. I plan to major in Sports Psychology. For the past 6 years, softball has been a huge part of my life. It has taught me to preserve through learning new techniques and to building leadership skills after being voted, by my fellow teammates, the team captain of my travel team for the past 2 years. Being part of a team and giving 110% each day, on and off the field, motivates me to to perform at the highest level. I have strong leadership skills and superior work ethic. I can be found working on my defensive or offensive skills long after the lights are turned off the field. I understand to be an elite athlete you have to put in the extra work. My travel coaches know they will usually receive a call from me on Sunday evenings after a weekend of softball to schedule my lessons for the upcoming week. As much as I would like to play softball forever, I know it is not the whole future. I have dedicated myself to working hard in school to challenge myself with classes which will prepare me for the future. I currently have a 4.0 while taking advanced and AP classes.
